This LO was my first effort for the Dusty Attic challenge. Timing was good, as it was also the being of the new year. On top of it all….a good start….I could not believe it when I was chosen to win the prize! Not only was it good for the ego….when I opened the goodies box…( which was sent from Australia)….my eyes nearly feel to the floor. The goodies were more than I had hoped for. Thank you Dusty Attic. I might add, you can now purchase DA in Holland.
The photo is of course of my self and my husband Frans on our wedding day 20 July 2005.
The paper used, of course Prima Marketing : Fairy Flora Collection.
Here you see the Dusty Attic chips used, vintage clock and the Ornate gate small.I used crackle paint/clear rock candy from Ranger on the clock face.
The butterfly's are made with a Martha Stewart punch, punched from the design paper and finished with glossy from Ranger.Swirls are from Sizzix.
The Dusty Attic chip used in this close up is the French Flourish. Cut in half, painted white, then clear rock candy on top.The flowers are hand made, at a later stage I hope to get a tutorial up and going for those that would like to try my way of doing them.
As they say in New Zealand "Catch you Later"
And I wish you all a scrappy day.
