Click HERE to see the video on making the rosesThe finished size of this card:  8.2/16” x 7.1/2 (19 cm x 21 cm )
Taking the A4 300gm card-stock and make the card base, first making 2 folds, being 2.1/4” ( 6 cm ) along the long side to form the foot of the card. Fold this to a hill and valley fold.
Cut the card front base at 5.9/16” x 6.12/16” ( 14. 2 cm x 17. 1 cm )
The card slider at 2.10/16” x 4.1/2”( 6. 7 cm x 11. 5 cm )
Cut the peach card stock as matting a little smaller for the card-background, card-front, card-foot and card slider. Do the same for the design paper. Taking the paper-distressing tool, distress all the edges of the design papers. Make the tag by taking the out side die of the half round medallion lace die and use it to cut the top for the tag background. Where the die stops cut both side straight. The tag when finished measures 4” x 5.1/2” ( 10. 2 cm x 14 cm ) Taking the other lace die in the same set, use this to make the tag head. Trim away any excess at the top of the tag once adhered together. The paper lace is die cut from the white card-stock then inked with Victorian velvet, then stamped with black archival ink using the small rose heart from the Classic wedding rose stamp set. Make a hole for the ribbon using the crop-a-dile. Insert the organza ribbon in the hole and make a loop. Stamp the sentiment using the gold embossing powder.

To make the tag pocket, take the out side die of the pocket lace design and the peach card stock,
cut out.

Cut the lace part by doing the same as above. Adhere with the clear drying glue. Attach the double dots to both outside sides and foot of the back of the pocket ready to adhere later. Put aside. Adhere the card-stock and design paper for the card-background in place also the slider and card-foot. Put the card front together by adhering the design paper to the peach card stock card-front.

Apply double sided tape to all sides except the top part of the card front peach card stock layer, as this will be the opening for the slider. Adhere, now to the white card-front base. Adhere the slider to the centre top of the card background. Slide the slider into the card front opening.
With the double sided tape and wet glue adhere the card front to the card foot. Adhere the peach ribbon lace across the foot of the card where the tag pocket ends.
( this was done with the hot glue gun )

Stamp, colour, die cut and shape the Bride and groom image, the roses and at least 6 leaf swirls.
Arrange the swirls and roses across the foot of the card and head of the tag.
Add a row of drops using the Nuvo crystal drops gloss white along the out side of the tag head and the lace across the foot of the card. To finish apply diamond stickles to the Brides veil and dress lace, to the rose petals and all the leaf swirls.

Another card made with those wonderful roses. Whats so wonderful is that Heartfelt Creations have made new sets to complement what we already have ...or want. I love it that I can mix and match with the Heartfelt Creations stamp and die sets....can't wait till the next release! You will all have to wait till the 2nd Wednesday of the month for that one.
Till then, next week a lot more yum from the Heartfelt Creation Blog and of course my palce.
I got some good news too.....won't be sharing totally till after July 6th...but a new door has opened for me and I am very excited about it! So till then all is zipped up.

Instructions:
Taking the A4 300gm card-stock and make the card base by first making 2 folds, being 2.1/4” ( 6 cm ) along the long side to form the foot of the card. Fold this to a hill and valley fold. Cut the card front base at 5.9/16” x 6.12/16” ( 14. 2 cm x 17. 1 cm ) The card slider at 2.10/16” x 4.1/2” ( 6. 7 cm x 11. 5 cm ) Click HERE to find a photo tutorial on how to put this card together. sussipoppins.blogspot.com
Cut the pink card stock as matting a little smaller for the card background, card front, card foot and card slider. Do the same for the design paper. Ink the edges with the Victorian velvet ink. Stamp the sentiment to the card front design paper in the centre. Taking the design paper cut x two the lace using the decorative Medallion die set. Ink the edges with the Victorian velvet ink. Taking the white card-stock, stamp all the leaves, flowers, wedding bell boarder and wedding bell spray. Colour with the zigg pens, die cut with the matching die sets then using the deluxe flower shaping tools bring shape to the elements. Adhere the papers for the card background, slider and card foot. Adhere the lace pieces by folding at the end of the lace and fold. Adhere to the design paper front. Adhere this to the pink card stock. Apply double sided tape to all sides except the top part of the card front pink card stock layer as this will be the opening for the slider when you adhere to the card front white base. Adhere the slider to the centre top of the card background. Slide the slider into the card front opening. With the double sided tape and wet glue adhere the card front to the card foot.

Taking the double dots ( thick double sided foam dots ) adhere the wedding bells spray to the top of the card front so the top of the spray overlaps on to the slider when adhered. Adhere the leaf sprays to the foot ( four sprays used plus ) Adhere the roses and buds then the wedding bell boarder. Adhere a small rose and bud to the wedding bell spray. To finish apply the novo crystal drops here and there around the roses and apply stickles to the rose petals and bells.

Now...how to put the card base together

The measurements are in both inches and centimetres. Above the card base from a A4 card stock sheet. Below the slider and card front. So you will need 2 A4 sheets for 1 card, 3 A4 sheets for 2 cards.

Below showing all the card pieces with the matting cut and placed

Showing how the matting is placed for the foot and card background.

Below is showing were to place the tape. The edge with out the tape is for the slider so it can slide up and down so the card can stand.

The tabs you see are the double sided tape throw away strips, I take alit away and folded it out
. Align it then the rest off. this is so I can get it straight with out fighting with the papers that is if I don't get it right the first time. It makes life easier if I have to take it off and realign.
I'm into easy...lol

ard background covers with the slider in place.

Above and below shows how the slider slide in behind the matting card-stock.

TAKE NOTE:
When adhering the slider, I always use double sided tape and wet glue. The double sided tape holds it in place, the wet glue allows movement to slide to get the centre of the car back edge and the slider needs to be secured very well as it gets a lot of movement. Before I did this, sometimes the tape on the slider came away. This was a real shame as it needed repairing...and not everyone has tape and glue...not everyone is a card maker..lol

Once the slider is adhered to the card background, then the card front can be adhered to the card foot as seen below. Now the card can stand on it's own.

Now to decorate the card front, just as you would a conventional card.

The slider top is hidden with a embellishment. this can be attached to the card front as is here or to the top slider edge if there is enough room to allow for this. To make allowance for this, you can adhere the card front lower on the card foot which will make more room for the embellishments on the slider top.
You have probably gathered I love this card form. It makes all the work extra special because it stands on it's own like a picture frame....Mmmm....thats an idea!
food for thought....

This card is greedy with design paper and card-stock...but well worth it. One way of using up the old faithful stash, so you can get more new, yum, up to date goodies to enjoy. The card asked 2x A4 card stock for the base, 1x matting card stock 12" x 12" (30cm x 30cm) 1-2 x 12" x 12" (30cm x 30cm ) design paper (depending on how extravagant you are and the design of the paper.) plus extra paper or card stock for stamped embellishments and flowers.

I hope you are happy with this photo tutorial. No more saying...I give up! and trashing all that hard work and design papers...lol
I would love to get feed back from you, so do feel free to leave a comment. Any questions will be answered as soon as I can get back to you.
Inky hugs and till next week...you can find more yummies from Heartfelt Creation and sussipoppins.
Inky hugs

Make the pillow box base using the design paper found in the collection. for full photo instructions. Taking the grey card stock make a box front. Taking the pink design papers cut the same only a little smaller. Distress the edges and adhere to the box front. Prepare all the embellishments. Make the 15 small roses and 4 buds ( the roses and buds when completed, apply gesso to them to soften the color. This can be done before or after adhering to the gift box front. Take into account drying time.) , 4 leaf vines, 2 lace half doily in grey card stock and 2 in the white card stock. An arch from the white card stock, cut a few paper ribbon ends from the pink and natural design paper. Stamp 2 small hearts using the Sapp green ink and color with the distress inks. Stamp the sentiment then fussy cut it out. Fussy cut the rose image from the design paper. Stamp the bride and groom and the wedding rings image, color with the distress inks. Stamp, color and die cut the wedding bells boarder. Star the decorating by first adhering the doilies, Arch, ribbon banners and wedding bell boarder, trimming as you go. Adhere the fussy cut roses. Arrange the leaf vines at the foot and to the left of the arch. Arrange and adhere the roses. Place the heart over the roses. Use the hot glue gun to secure. The sentiment is adhered with foam tape and wet glue over the heart. Yes you will lose a few roses but you need them to support the heart and sentiment. You will see a little of them between the cuts. Cut a heart in half and slip it under the arch as seen in the photo. The bride and groom, make a few extra cuts to make a chipboard embellishment. Slip to and adhere this to the foot of the arch. Make and color the wedding rings then adhere them in place. Once all is dry and secure apply stickles to finish the decorating. The box will not be so rounded at the front so take this into account when first closing the box.

Getting real close so you can see the gesso and glitter on the roses.

Love this bell boarder....so sweet in pink.

The sentiment stamped and fussy cut, placed over the roses so it looks like it is floating.

Loving all the layers...seems like a lot of work that you don't see...everyone will want to look even closer to see whats done and how it all works.
A talking point.

The lace boarder....love it! Makes a great base for the roses.

The arch frame is a great base for the wedding couple and gives rest to all the details.
