The tent fold card base measures just under 8" x just over 5 3/4" or 20cm x 14.8cm.

We all know how much I love to layered sentiment die cuts etc. I know....it is a royal pain to do but the pay off makes all that frustration worth it. I like to do at least 6 layers as it is done with this card. This "Thank You" die sentiment is such a wonderful investment...I use it so much on my cards. Thank you Heartfelt Creations for bringing this out in their Butterfly Dreams collection.

Below you get to see close up how the flower petals are layered. Once the flowers are done the mini micros are added....don't forget to use a tray or they will spring all over the room....they will roll through the whole house if you don't watch out....lol.

The blossoming cone flower corner border is stamped twice and given colour with the water colour pencils,die cut, trim and fusy cut to fit the corner of this card. The other flower on a stem in the same stamp set is also trimmed to fit and fill the card edge.

A double triple bow is a winner on any craft project....

......organza ribbon is so accommodating for the occasion.

25th June brings you a Shadow Box card featuring Crafters Companion products....

A close up of this amazing dragonfly....it comes in two sizes. (used on the inside of this card)

You get two closeups of the lush embossing....love that gliding wax!

  

The inside of the card...which is the shadow box. 

The shadow box card was in spired by this film HERE 

The card front is cut to fit the shadow box.

 The box front is cut a little lager than the embossing folder, the sides have 1.5cm to allow for the shadow box pop up.

You get see the detailed embossing highlighted with the gliding wax.

Staring from the centre cut out and working out to the sides....bringing layer on layer lets  the wax do it's work.

The sentiment is stamped onto an oval, adhered to the card base with double sided 3D foam tape so it won't get lost with all that yum going on with this card.

Below, the sentiment is die cut 4-6 times, adhere together. This always looks great when using the same colour card-stock as the background....makes it pop without it taking over the card.

Highlight the flower centres with the stickles...always brings a pretty finish to the card.

Below, the flowers are highlighted....the crystal sticker brings are wonderful as a flower centre..

 INSTRUCTIONS: 

MEASUREMENTS & PREPERATION FOR THIS CARD:

#1 Card base- 17.5 cm x 12.5 cm Mink cardstock

#2 Design paper matting- 17cm x 12cm

#3   Embossing size 17cm x 12cm Ivory card stock

#4 Sentiment  cut 5 from Mink cardstock

#5 Stamp 2 Sweet William images with archival ink

PUTTING IT TOGETHER:

#1 Make the card base using the Mink card stock to size

#2 Adhere the design paper matting to the card front

#3 Taking the Ivory card stock, cut & emboss. Trim to fit the card front if need.

#4 Cut in ½ in the length, Ink all the edges with the Vintage photo ink.  

#5 Adhere the left side of embossing at the same time as one of the fussy cut Sweet William images.

#6 Adhere the 2^nd Sweet William image to the right side of the card front

#7 Adhere with 3d foam tape/squares the remaining embossed cardstock piece to the card front

#8 Adhere all the sentiment layers in a stack. Adhere to the card front.

#9 To finish the card front, apply the Carnation Pink Nuvo crystal drops to the embossed dots in the circle and the Dandelion Yellow to the flower centers

#10 For the card inner, cut to size a scrap of the design paper and adhere to the inside of the card ready for a personal sentiment or message.
