INSTRUCTIONS:
This card when completed measures 5 ¼” x 5 ¼” (13.5cm x 13.5cm)
Taking the white card stock make the card tent fold base to the above measurements. Finding the sheets 1B and 2B cut 2 mattings a little smaller than each other and smaller than the card base. Using the paper distressing tool, distress the edges of the matting papers. Adhere to the card front. Using the Decorative circle frames die cut the lace frame from the white card stock. Colour this with the cornflower blue ink and a foam inking tool. Adhere this also to the card front. With the luxe silver card stock and the snow flake centre from the snow globe, die cut x1 then adhere this to the centre of the lace frame on the card front.
To make the poinsettias: The small flowers- each flower has 2 layers. Stamp and die cut x8 petals. The colours used are baby blue and tiger lily. The larger flowers have x3 layers. Stamp and die cut x6 petals. The colours used are cornflower blue and leaf green. Once they have been shaped with the matching flower mold and adhered together, clear drying glue is applied with the hydra sponge and then dipped into the glitter. Once the glitter is dry and excess tapped away, glue is applied to the flower centre then the prills are sprinkled onto the glue. Once the glue has dried the flower is tapped so the excess prills will come away. Now they can be adhered to the project. The leaves are stamped x4 and coloured with the leaf green ink. These leaves are finished with an application of crystal lacquer.

The sentiment is made by stamping the sentiment “Winter Wishes” by masking the word cozy away. This is inked on the edge and using the distressing tool on both edges. Adhere across the snow flake so it finishes under the flower cluster on each side.

Aren't we glad we now have silver cardstock from Heartfelt Creations to add to the stash.
Till next time,

INSTRUCTIONS:
This project measures5 ¼” x 4 ¼” (13.2cm x 11cm) when finished.
To make the snow globe card base, use the white card stock and the snow globe die cut two outer shapes. Taking the scor-pal make a fold at the top of the globe on one of the die cuts for the fold. Apply double sided tape to this then adhere the two die cuts together. This will form your tent fold globe base. Using the silver card stock and x4 pieces of card board, die cut the snow globe frame and inner circle to make a globe with a hole in it. Adhere all together, then adhere this to the globe card front with the clear drying glue. Find the sheet 1B in the paper collection and die cut the inner circle from this paper, the sky and stars should be showing once it is adhered in the globe ready to be embellished. Die cut with the silver cardstock the embellishment in the globe foot. Die cut also x4 from the cardboard. Adhere together then cut in half. Adhere one half to each side of the globe above the globe foot so this will peep out under the leaves later.

To add the glass snow on the outside of the globe, apply an ample amount of clear drying glue to the outside edge to the globe then dip this into the shaved glass. While the glue is drying make the embellishments. Stamp, colour and die cut the following.
The trees, x3. The colours used for the trees are leaf green, olive and sepia. The leaves in the trees are highlighted with the crystal lacquer. The deer, x2 stamped and x4 from cardboard. The colour used is sepia and finished with the crystal lacquer. The leaves, x2, the colour used is leaf green and finished again with the crystal lacquer. The poinsettias, each flower has 3 layers. For this card,  x6 lager sized petals and x3 smaller sized petals. The colours used are leaf green and corn flower blue.

Adhere all the embellishments to the globe as seen in the card photo using clear drying glue and the hot glue gun. When adhering the flowers, the smallest flower goes to the centre of the globe foot then one to each side of this. The leaves are

So easy and quick to make...this snow globe is going to be handy for any card.

Make the fold sharp by using the bone folder from the scor-pal. Cut the slider to ½’ X 4” The card front, 6 ¾” x 6 ¾” . Cut from a piece of paper or card stock scrap, 2” x  3 ¾” This is to be adhered a both  the 2” edge to the back of the card front 2” down from the top edge in the centre. The slider will later slide in this slider guide.
Taking from the paper collection sheet number 1b, make the matting for the card by cutting a little smaller than the card base, then distressing the edges before adhering in their place. This will be for the card front foot. (2 ½” x 8 ¼”), the card front. (6 ¼” x 6 ¼”), the card slider. ( 1 ½” x 4”) and the card background. (7” x 8 ¼”). When all is adhered to the card base, the slider is stapled to the card back in the centre then this can be slipped into the slider guide that is adhered at the back of the card front. The card base is now made.
Take the white card stock, the decorative circle frames die and the stairway gardens die then die cut the lacey frames. The stairway frame is coloured with the cornflower blue ink. Using glue dots or circles cut from card board, adhere the decorative frame to the card front.
Using the snow globe die, the white cardstock, the cardboard and the collection paper sheet number 1B make the snow globe for the card front as so, die cut x1 from the white cardstock, die cut x2 from the cardboard Colour the white cardstock snow globe with the cornflower blue and the sepia ink. Adhere to the cardboard globe. Adhere to the lace frame on the card front. Taking the inter circle die from the snow globe die cut x1 the collection paper and x1 from the cardstock. Adhere together then ink the edges with the sepia ink. Adhere this circle to the snow globe.
For the embellishments:  taking the white card stock and the sepia ink stamp the building from the Starrynight stamp set twice from one inking.(this will give you two colours) Do the same with the camels and palm tree. Die cut from the cardboard: x3 for each camel, x3 for the building. Adhere together. For the building adhere the lighter coloured building so it will show in the doorway and trim away unwanted building so it looks like the one in the card photo. Apply glitter to the doorway. Adhere in place on the snow globe. Adhere the palm tree to the right side of the building. Adhere the camels to the card front.
Taking the white cardstock stamp the sentiments, cut out with the fussy cutting scissors and ink them with the cornflower blue and sepia ink. Adhere in place with the foam 3D dots to under the snow globe and the other to the slider where it is stapled to the card background. When the card is standing you will see this sentiment, when the card is lying flat the card front will cover this.

Did you enjoy the journey?....I did.
