INSTRUCTIONS: This is a slim card that measures 4.2 “ X 9 “.
Taking the white card stock and cut 8.4 “ x 9 “ fold in half at the 8.4 “ then this will give you the above card base size. Cut a matting base to one 1 / 2 “ smaller on each side. Find the paper from the collection with the butterflies on the side. Cut this a little smaller than the matting base. Cut also a matting for the card front a little smaller. Fussy cut the butterfly from the print. The matting will cover the whole made buy the fussy cutting. Put the butterfly aside for later.
Taking the
printed paper, ruler, tracing tool and foam mat, with these you will make
tracing wholes along each edge of the papers. Under 1 / 4 “ from the edge.
Adhere all the layers together using the foam tape then to the card front.
To make all
the embellishments needed for this card: You will need to stamp 2 X the fern leaves and X 4 the flower accents
using the library green ink and then die cut. Colour the images using the colour
list in the other products list. Then shaping them with the shaping tools.
Adhere the
flowers and ferns to the card front by using the hot glue gun. Adhere the
butterfly to the centre of the flower spray. Stamp the sentiment with the sepia
ink and fussy cut it out. Adhere the sentiment to the card front as seen in the
photo of the card. To finish the card apply a little diamond stickles to the
flowers and butterflies.
