"MOTHER"

This is my Mum, taken before she married my Dad....the courting days. The photo was taken at the "Paramata Yacht  club" in the Wellington area, North Island, New Zealand. Dad and Mum were die hard water sports sort of people.

Decked with gesso, then finished with walnut ink-Verdigris
I folded the paper back and attached with a brad to reveal the reverse side of the paper. Perfect to bring out the wooden planks in the photo.

    Just exquisite Sussi! It's so clean and classy looking, and compliments the beautiful photograph of your dear mum. You have so much patience to make those perfect little flower swirls.
