Instructions:
The finished size of this card is 6 ¼” X   8” (15.9cm x 20.3cm)

Taking the white card stock make a tent fold card base measuring 6 ¼”  X 8” (15.9cm x 20.3cm)
To make the card front: Find the design paper found in the paper collection with the candy stripe on the out side of the print. Trim the candy stripe away from all four sides. Place on the card front edges and cut the strips of stripes to fit the out side of the card base, mitring the corners as you go. Cut the remaining paper from the candy stripe to fit the card front. Adhere this to the card front, then the mitred candy stripe to the card front edges. Taking the Starry Night Decorative Die and the white stamping card, die cut the boarder four times. Trim the boarders to fit the card front at the inside of the candy stripes, adhere in place. Cut from the left over boarder a corner to tidy the joins if needed.
Make five poinsettias and 16 holly leaves for this card. To make the Poinsettia flowers and Holly leaves, stamp the Candlelit Poinsettia’s and Holly leaves in the Library Green ink onto the white stamping card. Bring the colour onto the image using the daubers and Archival inks, Red Geranium and Leaf Green. When finished colouring, die cut all then bring shape to the flowers and leaves by using the 3D flower mold. Use the flower shaping tools to bring further shape if needed.  Stack three layers together and adhere together by using the hot glue gun. Apply clear drying glue to the petal points with a brush then dip into the glitter. Put aside to dry on the funnel tray. When dry, tap the flower on the side of the tray to eliminate any excess glitter. Apply clear drying glue to the poinsettia flower centres then pour the prills onto the flower. Taking a shaping tool press lightly on the prills, this will push the prills into the glue. Put aside to dry on the tray, when dry they are ready to use on your card
Make the rest of the elements used for this card: Cut the cottage out a few times (about 4) extra also the window, door and rooftop so this will be 3D when adhered together. Make the candy canes, penguins and lights. Using the zig markers to apply colour to the elements.
To make the snow on the elements, the puff pint is used. Once the Stamp and die cut the elements with snow on them are stamped, die cut, coloured and adhered together, apply the puffy paint to the snow, while still wet apply glitter then use the heat tool to puff the snow. Do the same for the window, the roof top and the snow on the ground. Once all is done, adhere all in their places on the cottage.
Make the sentiment banner by using the stamp from the collection; coffee ink and the Hand Stitched Accents die set. Bring colour to the banner using the Leaf Green ink and a dauber.
Arrange the poinsettias, holly leaves and the small candy cane in clusters at each side of the banner. Add the holly leaves also to the side of the card behind the penguin on the left. Apply the dazzling details glitter glue to the hanging lights above the cottage door, the door handles and the hats and scarves of all three penguins to bring attention to them.

These cute little penguins are so adorable and fun...keep checking in as then you will get to see more of what they get up to over the next few weeks.
Till next time...happy inky days.
