INSTRUCTIONS:
This finished tent fold card measures 6.10”
x 8.5” (16.9 cm x 21cm)
Make the tent fold card base to the above
measurements. Taking the Winter Rose ink, ink the edges of the card base. Find
the background paper used for this card in the paper collection, trim this a
little smaller than the card base measurements. Adhere together.
Taking the Booklet Basics die cut x3 of the
largest book page, x1 of the frame that will fit into the small lace Booklet
Frames die used on this card. Find the Booklet Frames used, the largest and the
smallest die cut x1 of each. Taking the Winter Rose and the Sand Storm ink and
the foam inking tool or dauber and apply the color to the edges of all die
cuts.
Taking the Swirl Boarder Accents Die set
and the white card, die cut the larger swirl border x2. Ink this also the same
as the booklet pages. Taking these swirl boarders and the lace booklet frames
apply glue to these then the glitter. Put aside to dry. While the glue is drying make the flowers
and sprays.
WILD ASTERS
To make the Asters, Stamp the flowers and leaves using
the Library Green ink. Bring colour to the stamping using the, Wild Rose ink ,
zig markers: green for the stems and pink for the flower buds
Once the colouring is done, die cut the shapes. Bring
shape to the flowers and leaves by using the tools in the 3D flower shaping
kit. To apply the prills : apply clear drying glue to the flower centres then
pour the prills over the flower. With the shaping tool press down on the prills
so the prills go into the glue, set aside to dry. When making two layers for
the asters, the under layer does not have prills on them, only the top
layer. The sprays are stamped, coloured and die cut, by using the 3D flower
shaping tools shape the flower buds from the back to how you want them. Trim
the spray if needed so you can use small parts of the spray to fill the flower
clusters.
Adhere the swirl boarder to both top and
bottom of the card. Taking the largest lace book frame, adhere to the centre of
the card. Taking the booklet pages
and the scoring tool, score down to make a centre fold of the pages. Curl the
pages so they will fall when adhered like a 3d opened book. Stamp the sentiment
onto the smallest page with the gold embossing powered. Stamp this also to a
scrap white card so you can fussy cut the banner. When this is done add more of
the winter rose ink to the banner. Apply extra of the sand storm ink over the
sentiment to highlight it. Make also x2 of the book marks, ink this also with
the winter rose ink. Adhere the pages together by adding strips of craft foam
between the pages to lift them. Adhere with clear drying glue the strips and
also at the centre page fold. Once this is done you can add the flower
clusters. The book marks and the banner.
Oh, this is so pretty Susan...I love the soft colors.
