INSTRUCTIONS:
This completed hinged tent fold card
measures 6 ½” x 6 ½” (16.5cm x 16.5cm)
With the Sheena Douglas stamping card make
the tent fold card base to the above measurements. Taking the Grasshopper ink
and a dauber or a foam-inking tool and ink the card front edges. Find the paper
in the paper collection that is 12x12 (30cm x 30cm), a scene of a blue sky,
pine trees and mountains in it. Trim the paper to 6” x 6” (15.2cm x 15.2cm) so
you still have the trees and mountains in it. Taking the Grasshopper ink, ink
the edges of this paper the same as the card front. Adhere this paper layer to
the card front with glue or double-sided tape.
The list of stamping (Library Green ink)
and die cutting used for this card from the Wild Wilderness Create a’Scape
collection sets:
3x the lake and jumping trout scene, 2x the
rock and plant boarder and 4x the bulrush boarder from the Trout Lake sets.
2x the rabbits and 1x the fox from the
Nature sets.
The sentiment is from the Ornamental tags
die set. This is die cut x4 from the white card, adhere the layers together
then inked with both the ocean blue and the grasshopper inks. Apply a layer of
crystal clear, set aside to dry. When dry wrap the card with 3 lengths of
string (x4 lengths of the card), thread the sentiment in to the string then tie
a bow
The detailed images are colored using the
zigg markers the finishing of the trees, boarders and the water also to give
more depth, apply to the harmony inks.
The sentiment, rabbits, the fox and the
front pine trees are finished with an application of crystal clear so they will
pop when adhered to the card. The Trout is finished both with diamond stickles
and the crystal clear.
Adhere all the elements in place, starting
with the Lake. The first layer: Die cut out the trout and the rocks. Then the
scene is cut in ½ and adhered to the card so there is a gap in the center of
the scene. The second layer: Die cut the trees away and the lake. Adhere in
place so the gap is covered. Layer the trees as seen on the card photo. Use the
double dots to adhere the trout and rocks in place on the lake. With the double
dots also adhere the lake in place. Adhere the bulrushes in place, trimming
away what is not needed and adding to fill the gaps to each side of the lake.
Adhere the rock and grass boarders in place at the foot of the card. Adhere the
rabbits and the fox in place. Using the balling tools as needed to give life to
the elements.
To finish the card apply the diamond
stickles to the flowers, bulrushes and to the mountaintops.
This collection is such fun...so many ways to play with it. Go to Heartfelt Creations blg to find more and keep posted till next week.
Till then, inky scrappy sussipoppins hugs.
Susan
