foam tape, Sheena Douglas White Stamping
Card, Diamond stickles, Foam inking tool., Green micro beads.
INSTRUCTIONS:
His card measures 6 ¼”x 6 ¼” (16cm x 16cm) when completed.
All the stamping is done using the Library Green ink.
Taking the white card, make a tent fold hinged card to the
above measurements. With the spring green mousse and the water brush pen apply
color to the card front edges. You need to color up to about ½” in from the edge.
Taking the white card, the die sets stairway gardens and the
eyelet royale make the card fronts. Take the outer square from the eyelet
royale set and cut this twice. One square is inked on all edges with the paradise
teal and the foam inking tool or a dauber.
Taking the remaining die cut square and the four stairway
lace corner pieces from the stairway gardens die set. Place a die to all four
corners of the square, tape then die cut. Taking a piece of white card and the
squares from the stairway garden die set and die cut a lace square. Apply the
paradise teal ink to the die cut pieces just made. Apply the diamond stickles
or glitter to the die cut eyelets and dots to the lace squares, also the outer
edge of the small square. Put aside to dry. Taking the plain circle die from the courtyard elegance die
set and a piece of white card, die cut the circle. Apply the paradise teal ink
to the edges.
Adhere the plain square to the card front then the stairway
lace front to this, adhering at the center of the square so the edges are lose
and can naturally curl up. Adhere the circle to the card front with the 3D foam
dots. Put the card aside to make the rest of the embellishments.
Take the white card for all the embellishment stamping and
die cutting. The coloring is done with the nuvo mousse as water color using the
colors spring green and aquamarine. Taking the sentiment from the ornamental
tags die set, cut x1. Stamp and die cut x8 the small hydrangeas, x2 the straight
hydrangea boarder, x12 the small petals, x12 the large petals, x1 the birds on
the branch.(color only the leaves as the birds are not used)
Bring shape to the petals using the 3D hydrangea mold and
the flower shaping tools. Use the shaping tools to bring shape also to the
leaves and small Hydrangeas.
Arrange and adhere with the
hot glue gun the small hydrangeas in a circle to the circle on the card front. Place the small
lace square to the center of this arrangement as a diamond. Where the diamond square
edges touch the leaves, this is where you adhere with the hot glue gun.. Adhere
the sentiment across the diamond, from point to point. Taking the straight
hydrangea boarders, cut these in half, trim further as needed to place and
adhere at the diamond points between the stairway die cut pattern so they overlap the edges a little.
At these points adhere the double petaled flowers which have micro beads
adhered in the in the centers.
Pretty card Susan! Loving the colors.
