The vase stamp has a matching die...to my surprise it has cuts so you can ball it up into 3d...or you can leave it to be flat...it's called a multi tasking die....lol

You can see, I eased the vase by cutting extra to make it into a chipboard piece. Using the die and printed Liliy swirl to complement the 3d Lily......a Mm moment...lol

Close ups of the Lily. golden Rod on the stem men tips, done before adhering too the centres. got to watch those hairs with the heat gun! You can see here the layering with the border dies.

...and yes....these are cards you do not send...if you do, you need to box them. The card is the gift...a gift of love that you give personally to the person receiving.

Instructions:
This hinged tent fold card finished size is 25 cm x 17.5 cm.
Make the card base by cutting 25 cm x 17.5 cm x 2 plus a hinge. Adhere together. Make the card front base from the A4 cardstock by cutting 24 cm x 16.5 cm. Bring color to the base with the Walnut stain ink and foam ink tool. Cut 23.5 cm x 15.5 cm from the A4 cardstock for the card front. Using the Regal border die, cut the pattern in the card. Add a little ink to the edges. Adhere with the foam tape / DDots. Make x 2 border background from the Regal border dies. Adhere in place. From the paper pad find the preprinted swirls, die cut these with the matching dies. Find the vase also in the paper, gold emboss, then die cut the vase. Cut, trim and ball the swirls in the vase. You will find ready placed cuts that need help in the die. Cut a few extra vases from card stock and one from the design paper. Stack, adhere all the vases together. Adhere this vase to the center of the card front. For the sentiment banner, gold emboss, die cut and trim away the unwanted extras. Ink with the Walnut stain ink. Adhere with the foam tape under the vase. Make all the Lily’s and leaves. Applying gold stickles to the black lily center. Adhere the Lily swirls in place. Arrange then adhere the 3d Lily’s on top of these swirls.
Apply the diamond stickles to the Lily’s to finish the card.

Thats it for this week, I have had a lot of fun making these Lilies...love the Lily swirls. These Lilies can be adapted for any card and make any ones day.
Wishing you a scrappy inky day.

  5. What do you mean when you say you ball the vase to make it 3D? Do you wad it up into a ball or do you use your tools from the flower shaping kit? Thank you in advance! this is a beautiful card!

    1. I use the tools to ball it up...thus rounding the swirls and making it into a ball shape.I know it's a term I use, when I say balling I mean rounding. Yes I use the flower shaping ki for this, I call the tools. balling tools as they have balls on them. I think, it is what you get used to saying...lol. Have a great day
