Instructions.
This Z slider card measures 15 cm x 13.5 cm when completed.
NOTE: All the stamping is done with the gold embossing powder and all the matting is cut 2 mm smaller each edge.
To make the card base, taking the cardstock, cut at 27 cm x 13.5 cm. Score fold lines at 6 cm and 12 cm. Fold this into hills and valley folds. This forms the background (15 cm x 13.5 cm) and foot of the card (6cm x 13.5 cm). Cut for the card slider, 4.5 cm x 11.5 cm. Cut for the card front, 10 cm x 13 cm. Cut also 2 layers matting from the same card stock for the card front back ground, card foot and card front. This card has only one layer for the matting for the slider but you could always make the 2nd for it. Emboss all top matting layers. Spray the Lindy's Azure Sea Asters to the embossing layers, diluting the color with the water mister as wanted also to get the color running down the card stock. Use the other colors to flick color spots to your work once all the layers are adhered together. When the misting is dry, adhere all the layers together. The card front piece to the center of the card foot. The slider, to the center of the card background top. Curl the edges of the matting up to give it a worn look. Please note. When adhering all together, leave the top of the card front open. This is so you can slide the slider between the card stock layers. Stamp, die cut and shape the flower circle x 2, adhere together to form a layered circle. Stamp and cut the butterfly from the white card stock and the clear card stock. Shape the clear card stock by using the heat gun. Using short bursts of heat and shaping with your fingers before the plastic cools. Apply more heat when needed for shaping. Place all the embellishments to the card front by first adhering the layered flower circle to the card front, the butterfly layers to the circle center. Make the sentiment. Trim and give the banner a curl. Adhere at the banner ends to hold the curve.
This was sure fun! I love to work with the plastic card stock..You can also try using your plastic packaging for this. Give any thing with in reason a go once.
Scrappy happy inky sussipoppins hugs.
