Instructions:
This Z slider card measures 15 cm x 13.5 cm when completed.
NOTE: All the stamping is done with the gold embossing powder and all the matting is cut 2 mm smaller each edge. The hot glue gun is used to make the roses.
To make the card base, taking the winter white cardstock, cut at 27 cm x 13.5 cm. Score fold lines at 6 cm and 12 cm. Fold this into hills and valley folds. This forms the background (15 cm x 13.5 cm) and foot of the card (6cm x 13.5 cm). Cut for the card slider, 4.5 cm x 11.5 cm. Cut for the card front, 10 cm x 13 cm. Cut also 2 layers matting from the same card stock for the card front back ground, card foot and card front. This card has only one layer for the matting for the slider but you could always make the 2nd for it if you want. Emboss all top matting layers. Spray the Lindy's Azure Sea Asters to the embossing layers, diluting the color with the water mister as wanted also to get the color running down the card stock. Use the other colors to flick color spots to your work once all the layers are adhered together. When the misting is dry, adhere all the layers together in the following order: The card front to the center of the card foot and the slider to the center of the card background top. Curl the edges of the matting up to give it a worn look. Please note. When adhering all together, leave the top of the card front open. This is so you can slide the slider between the card stock layers. Make the card base embellishments: Stamp and color with the Chameleon markers 3 of the rose circles then die cut. Using the flower shaping tool kit to bring shape to the leaves and roses. Trim two of the circles to form an oval on the card front. Adhere the oval in place. Use the remaining circle for the background card. Placement is at each side of the card front. Wrap the ribbon across the card foot and making a triple bow, secure all with the hot glue gun. For the birds, stamp, color, die cut and bring shape the birds with the flower shaping kit. Apply a layer of stickles to the wings and head of the birds. When dry apply a generous layer of glossy accents. Adhere the birds just above the bow. Make the sentiment by cutting 6 layers of the words best wishes, stack and adhere the layers together. Make the roses, 1 x large, 1x med large, 2 x med and 1 x rose bud and a few leaf vines. Once made, place the roses and leaves over the bow and under the birds.
