This card when completed will fit into a 9 and half inches x 7 and half inches envelope. The card base measures 8 quarter inches x 6 15/16th inches ( 23.5 cm x 17.5 cm ) Please note all the stamping is done with the gold embossing powder. Take the A 4 cardstock and make 2 fold lines at 2 quarter inches each to form the foot of the card. Fold this to a hill and valley fold. Cut the card front base at 4 12/16th inches x 3 15/16th (10 cm x 12.1 cm ) A second card side front at 3 13/16th inches x 2 quarter inches ( 5.7 cm x 9.6 cm ) The slider at 1 7/16th inches x 3 2/16 th inches (3.7 cm x 8 cm ) Last the slider guide at 1 2/16th inches x 3 quarter inches (8.3 cm x 2.8 cm ) This piece you will use the punch to cut a half circle in the center of longer edge to aid sliding the slider in place later when adhered to the back of the card front.
Find the design paper in the paper pad and cut a little smaller than the base for the matting. Ink all the matting paper edges with both distress ink colors for shading.
Adhere all the papers in place with tape or glue. Adhere the card front to the left of the card foot. With the 3d foam double dots adhere the card side front to the right of the card front and card foot.
Taking the yellow ribbon, make a small double half bow and adhere in place with the hot glue gun.

Make the “Aloha” sentiment by layering and gluing 6 die cuts made from the cardstock. Stamp, die cut and color the embellishments from the collection. The finished parrot is reinforced by die cutting and adhering 4 extra layers together. Arrange and adhere all the flowers and leaves in place. Add the parrot then the sentiment. You can adhere the arrangement either with wet glue or the hot glue gun I used the latter. Adhere the slider to the top of the card in line with the card front. Place the slider guide to the back of the card front so the slider will slide to let the card stand on it’s own. Apply the rhinestones to the flower centers and to the slider head. Apply the crystal Lacquer to the sentiment and stickles to the flowers and parrot.
There you have it...I am sure you will want to make this again because you will want to keep one for yourself...lol.
