You will fall in love all over again.....

using those deep 3D embossing folders from Crafters Companion!
Take a look!

Crafters Companion Product Used:
Gilding Wax:King Gold, Empire Gold.
3D Embossing Folders: Flourishing Frame EF5-3D-FLFR, Rambling Rose EF5-3D-RROSE.
AQUA by Spectrum Noir  markers: Navy, Marine.
Water Brush PensCC-WTBRSH-M3PC

Other products used:
Journaling note book, Black card-stock

Measurements:
This book measures 15cm x 21cm (5 3/4" x 8 1/4")

On it's side so you get to see all that yum embossing and gilding wax!...fantastic with the black card stock...looks great done with red too.....any colour is good!

The book is open son you get toes the front and back....you could also decorate it with words etc.
I decided to do this later...I want to enjoy it as is for the time being till I find the perfect tittle.
I found this book at our local AH for about 5 euro.

A few close ups of the detail.
Truly looks like metal...beats using recycled coke cans and getting the fingers in bandaids...lol

A tag pocket I made to go into the inside cover of the journal.
See how I used a different 3D folder. Using the gilding wax to highlight the cut out 1/2 oval and edges.
Love this stuff!...so much so I invested in all the colour golds and silver.
Wont run out of this stuff in my life time! Now thats a scrappy investment for you...lol.

Showing off all that crummy detail. This will make great gifts for all my crafty friends.

There is already a pocket in their book, so I took a sheet of paper from the front....the one that did not work out with the gesso decking, inked it, embossed it, then gilded it.
Very happy with the out come, better than trashing the page.
...I am thinking....what is this going to look like when I really start playing.....???

....got to get a handle on the gesso decking first...I am out of touch with it of late, so I got a few weeks vacation to get the practice in for it....thats going to be fun!
*****
I also have in the planning,  a bible journal....now that will be killing two birds with one stone....filling the spiritual needs as well as the crafting needs...now thats what I call a double rebait on your investment....but there are more projects on the to do list. 24 hours is not enough time in the day!...or may be I need to start planning my time better...thats called bullet journalling?
Well theres only one thing to do...start at the top of the list and work my way down.....lol.
*****
Till next time...happy scrappy love and inky hugs.
