Fussy cutting scissors, Hot glue gun, White card stock, Diamond stickles, sewing pattern tracing tool, foam mat (for under the tracing tool), metal ruler, Double sided foam tape.

INSTRUCTIONS:   This is a slim card that measures 4.2 “ X 9 “.

Taking the white card stock and cut 8.4 “ x 9 “ fold in half at the 8.4 “ then this will give you the above card base size. Cut a matting base to one 1 / 2 “ smaller on each side. Find the paper from the collection with the butterflies on the side. Cut this a little smaller than the matting base. Cut also a matting for the card front a little smaller. Fussy cut the butterfly from the print. The matting will cover the whole made buy the fussy cutting. Put the butterfly aside for later.

Taking the printed paper, ruler, tracing tool and foam mat, with these you will make tracing wholes along each edge of the papers. Under 1 / 4 “ from the edge. Adhere all the layers together using the foam tape then to the card front.

To make all the embellishments needed for this card: You will need to stamp  2 X the fern leaves and X 4 the flower accents using the library green ink and then die cut. Colour the images using the colour list in the other products list. Then shaping them with the shaping tools.

Adhere the flowers and ferns to the card front by using the hot glue gun. Adhere the butterfly to the centre of the flower spray. Stamp the sentiment with the sepia ink and fussy cut it out. Adhere the sentiment to the card front as seen in the photo of the card. To finish the card apply a little diamond stickles to the flowers and butterflies.

I have found the papers have done all the work with this card...I feel in love with this paper sheet as soon as I laid eyes on it....I am sure you will too.

Till next time scrappy, inky hugs

Taking this paper, tier the paper along the printed pattern. Using the pattern tracing tool, making wholes along both the edges that have been torn. Ink these edges with the sepia ink. Arrange onto the LO base as seen in the photo. Cut a strip of paper that matches from the paper collection to fill any missing paper coverage.Cut a few strips from the cardboard box about an half inch wide. Adhere these across the foot of the LO base so the paper at the foot of the LO will be raised. Depending on the thickness of the card board used, two layers were used in this LO. Adhere the paper strip with the torn edge to the raised area. Make and prepare all the embellishments for this LO. Stamp, color and die cut:- at least x5 assorted magnolia buds, x 14 leaves, x 19 magnolias. (each having two layers to the flower and one punched stamen) the colors used are listed in the ‘Other Products’ list. Using the white card stock die cut the sentiment and x 2 the Palace gateway. Ink these with the sepia ink. With the clear drying adhesive and glitter, highlight the words in the sentiment. When dry, adhere to the foot of the LO. Place one of the gates above the sentiment to the left. Prepare the photo by cutting it to fit behind the gate. Use the cardboard box cut to size or strips to lift the photo from the LO base. (This photo has three layers of cardboard to lift it.) Cut the gate open then  adhere the gate to the photo. Adhere all in place. Arrange and adhere all the premade magnolia buds and flowers in place. Curl the gate open and adhere in place where it falls on the magnolias. Apply the Crystal Lacquer to the curled back gate.
