Secure the stamens using the hot glue gun. Before trimming the stamen threads away apply glue to the petal edges with the old water brush, dip the petals in the glitter and put aside to dry. When dry trim away the threads, now they are ready to use.

To make the sentiment, stamp the sentiment with the sepia ink onto the white card then taking the two circles dies from the “Circle Basics” die set that fit to make a ring. Taking the crystal lacquer, apply this to the: seagulls, windows of the lighthouse and the sentiment ring

Cut the hinged tent fold card to the above measurements. Before adhering together: Find the design paper in the paper collection with the yellow and blue in the print. Trim this a little smaller than the card base. Adhere to the card front. Taking the oval die from the Eyelet oval frame die and cut an oval in the middle of the card front. For the card back inside, stamp the lighthouse with the rocks in front of it and color this with the zig markers. Taking the matching die for the rocks stamp and die cut this a few extra times. When colored adhere to the lighthouse scene in its place. Taking the Honey Pot ink and inking foam tool, ink around the edges of the stamping so you have a yellow hue around the scene when the card is closed. Add a yellow hue where the light is in the lighthouse. Taking the cloud stamp, stamp die cut then color x 2. Adhere a large and small cloud to the lighthouse scene. Now adhere the card hinges together to form the tent fold.

Adhere a large cloud to the card front so it laps over into the oval hole.  Stamp three extra lighthouse scenes, as you will use the water part of the stamping. Trim away the water once it is colored. Adhere to the lower oval and inside of the card so you see only water for a base. Make two boats and adhere as seen in the card photo. Make the sentiment using the sign from the Cherry Blossom Retreat stamp and die sets. Make the sea gulls, die cut extra for the layering 3-4 layers. Adhere together then adhere to the card front.

Make the flowers: Take the stamp and die collection set for these flowers and the matching blossom shaping mold. Stamp and die cut enough to use for the card. Color the elements using the Yellow zigg marker pen and a water pen for the flowers and a green color marker for the leaves. When colored, run the flower petals and leaves through the die cutting machine with the mold.  For each flower prick a hole in the centre with a pricking tool and thread the stamens through the hole. Secure the stamens using the hot glue gun. Before trimming the stamen threads away apply glue to the petal edges with the old water brush, dip the petals in the glitter and put aside to dry. When dry trim away the threads, now they are ready to use.

Adhere in clusters to the top left of the oval and lower right. Placing the sentiment then another cluster of two flowers and leaves to the left side. To finish the card, apply the liquid Lacquer to the sentiment, seagulls, bouts and all the windows in the scene.

Other Products Used:
Diamond stickles, Sheena Douglas white stamping card, Hot glue Gun, Fussy cutting Scissors, Double sided Tape, Double Sided Foam Tape, Misti Stamping Tool, Spectrum Noir Harmony Ink: Crushed Velvet, Pale Fig. Versa-mark, Craft foam, Foam inking tool.

INSTRUCTIONS:
This finished card measures 8 ½” x 6 ¾” (21.6cm x 17cm)
Make the tent fold card 8 ½” wide and 6 ¾” high. Find the design paper on the paper collection and add color to the edges with the Crushed velvet ink and the foam inking tool or a durbar.
Taking the corner die and the white card die cut x4 for each corner. Adhere for each corner, 4 layers together then apply the crushed velvet ink with the inking tool or a durbar. Taking the versa-mark, randomly swipe the corner element with the pad so it does not get covered completely.  Dip the corner into the gold embossing powder then use the heating tool to set the gold. This method is used for all the gold embossing on the elements in this card. Taking the white card and the small swirl corners, die cut x2 of these. Color and gold emboss the same as the corners. Adhere the swirl borders to each side of the card. Taking the larger booklet frame die and the booklet basic die to match also the middle-sized booklet frame die and the white card, die cut all once. Taking the inks crushed velvet, pale fig and he inking tool, bring color to the die cuts. Randomly gold emboss the lace edge of the frames. For the sentiment, take the sentiment from the for my friend sentiments stamp set and stamp this using the gold embossing powder to the right side of the page. Taking the score-pal make a fold down the center of the pages. Curl the pages by wrapping them around a glue bottle and your hands. Adhere in place using clear drying glue and the craft foam cut into strips, so the curl stays in place and the pages are lifted apart from each other.
To make the Asters, Stamp the flowers and leaves using the Library Green ink. Bring colour to the stamping using  Archival inks: Leaf green and the zig markers; Light violet and green. Once the colouring is done, die cut the shapes. Bring shape to the flowers and leaves by using the tools in the 3D flower shaping kit. To apply the prills: Apply clear drying glue to the flower centres then pour the prills over the flower. With the shaping tool press down on the prills so the prills go into the glue, set aside to dry.
You are doing two layers, so the under layer does not have prills on them, only the top layer.
The leaves are stamped, coloured and die cut, by using the 3D flower shaping tools shape the leaves from the back to how you want them.
Die cut with the white card 2x the swirls. Color these with the crushed velvet ink. Trim as needed so they will lay across the book from left to right as a base for the flower cluster. Adhere the flower cluster and leaves using the hot glue gun. Trim the flower sprays as fillers and adhere in the arrangement where needed. To the lower corners of the card, adhere 2x leaves as seen in the photo then a double aster flower in the center of the two leaves. To finish the card apply the diamond stickles to the flower sprays and flower tips.

Till next time, I wish you a happy inky scrappy time.
