"On Your Special Day"

Hi,
today I am showing a card from Heartfelt Creations, the 'Candlelit Christmas' collection.
A way of using the collection to make a non christmas card.

Heartfelt Creations Products And Products Carried On Our Website:

Other Products Used:
Diamond stickles, Sheena Douglas white stamping card, Hot glue Gun, Fussy cutting Scissors, Double sided Tape, Double Sided Foam Tape, Misti Stamping Tool. Inks: Spectrum Noir Harmony inks: Grasshopper, Honey Pot, Midnight, Ranger Archival Saffron. Paper distressing tool.
 Lettuce Entertain You Prills

For more tips on creating with the Candlelit Christmas collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/PJeFD_d3AiM.

Instructions: This completed card measures 6” X 6” (15cm X 15cm)
Taking the white card stock make a tent fold card measuring 6” x 6” / 15cm x 15cm.
Find the printed-paper used from the Candlelit Christmas paper collection, cut the blue paper to 6.10” X 6.10” (15.5cm X 15.5cm) and the yellow paper to 5.70” X 5.70” (14.5cm X 14.5cm) Taking the paper distressing tool, distress all sides of both matting papers.
Taking a sheet of white card die cut the Starry night decorative die twice so you can make a circle. Also cut the boarder die twice.  Die cut the sentiment band using the Album Tags and Accents die set.  Cut the outer band from white card and the inner from the yellow printed-paper used in the matting. Using the Harmony inks and daubers bring the colour to the doily and sentiment band as seen in the photo. Stamp the sentiment then construct the boarder band together as seen in the card photo. Adhere all to the card front using glue and the 3D foam dots.
To make the Poinsettia flowers and Holly leaves: Make enough for 5 flowers and 10 holly large leaf sets- Stamp the Candlelit Poinsettia’s and Holly leaves in the Library Green ink onto the white stamping card. Bring the colour onto the images using the daubers and Archival inks, Red Geranium, Leaf Green and Saffron. When the colouring is finished, die cut all then bring shape to the flowers and leaves by using the 3D flower mold. Use the flower shaping tools to bring further shape if needed.  Stack three layers together and adhere together by using the hot glue gun. Apply clear drying glue to the petal points with a brush then dip into the glitter. Put aside to dry on the funnel tray. When dry, tap the flower on the side of the tray to eliminate any excess glitter. Apply clear drying glue to the poinsettia flower canters then pour the prills onto the flower. Taking a shaping tool press lightly on the prills, this will push the prills into the glue. Put aside to dry on the tray, when dry they are ready to use on your card.
Adhere the flowers at each side of the sentiment banner in clusters. Three flowers on the left and two flowers on the right. Add the leaves where needed under the poinsettias, see the card photo.
Finish the card by applying stickles to the sentiment and stars on the boarder and doily. Add clusters of stickle dots at each end of the flower clusters to extend the cluster. See the photo.

A fun card to make...I just love all those cute poinsettias.
Till next week, have a scrappy inky time.
