"Celebrate You"

Hello to you all, on this fine Wednesday Heartfelt Creations posting day.
Today I have a LO to check out...but wait...
GREAT NEWS TODAY!
New Die release! An extension on the Peacock Paisley Collection. Look on and see what it is!
Check this link out and see what Heartfelt Creations has to offer you today....let them make your day!

This LO photo is of a very dear girlfriend of mine....unfortunately.... I have lost contact with her. We met and spent our time together in New Zealand, we both split up around 20-30 years ago. Stephanie  moved to Australia 20 to 30 years ago....and got married....love can do wonderful things...LOL... I did the same, only I went further to Holland....so if anyone recognises this photo and wants to help me out...please give me a hint. I have dear fond memories of our time together. I came a cross this photo when playing in my cave and wanted to celebrate the memory of her.....Steph...this one is for you!

Now to get on with the show.....a few close ups to share with you.

Close up of this wonderful new toy Heartfelt Creations have released this week!
And thats not all! two other die in the set!

This is the other peacock die...which one to chose? Use the KISS solution...
"Keep It Simple Sussi"
Have them all...yes you too can have them all...wait for it! Thank goodness Heartfelt Creations also think out of the box and are very understanding of our dilemma....LOL.
Are you ready for it! Yip they put all three dies in one set for us! Two Peacocks and one feather!
Now that is thoughtfulness...aren't they wonderful!

The third die, is a feather die. Now you don't have to fussy cut all those fine swirls. Here the feather is tucked under the flowers and leaves as a filler....love that gold embossing!

Here above, the feather is trimmed shorter so it can be tucked into place. See how you can us the off cuts.

Another look at my most fav. peacock.
You can see the flowers supporting the Peacock tail and surrounding the photo...psst...thats why the photo needs to be raised....so all the flowers, double stacked leaves and feathers....
all come into their glory
Once again I love these dies...now I can make chipboard embelishments with them.
I could not before as one can not fussy cut x6 exactly the same...LOL Read on. The tutorial will tell all on how to.
Have a scrappy time making these chipboards and I whish you inky fingers colouring them.
Inky hugs. Sussipoppins

The Lay Out tutorial and the product list...

Instructions for this project:
This Lay Out is 30 cm x 30 cm. The photo,11 cm x 15 cm.
Find the paper in the paper collection with the cut mat create background (this will be your background), the dark blue flower printed paper (this will be your matting), the paper with the peacock sitting on the white gates on the right lower side. (this will be further referred to, as patterned paper).Taking the dies from the Cut Mat Create 1a and 1b die collection and the papers, cut to size using the 3.5 cm x 5.5 cm from HCD2-750 set. Cut x 10 to this size from the white card stock. Cut x1 each from the same die size for the top right, top left and bottom left panel from the patterned paper
Taking the HCD2-749 cut x 3 from the dark blue paper for the matting in size 3.75 “ x 5.75 “. For the center matting under the photo, use the HCD2-750  3 “ x 1 “die for the blue paper and the HCD2-750 1.75 " x 3.5 " for the patterned paper. The left top and lower right panels have the 5 white card stock stacked to make this into a chipboard. Adhere the cut patterned paper to this stack, then continue adhering the rest of the matting papers in place on the back ground paper inking the edges with the Black Soot ink as you go. Apply stickles to the white fence the peacock is sitting on. To make the embellishments continue as follows. All the embellishments are made with the white cardstock, stamped with the gold embossing powder and colored with the Derwent pencils and water coloring brush. To make both Peacock chipboards, die cut the shape x 5 each, stamp and die cut x 1. You have in total have 6 layers. Adhere these together making sure all is aliened and straight. Bring color to the Peacocks. Stamp, die cut and color the remaining embellishments as follows. 4 x feathers, 4 x both large and small leaves. Do the same for the flowers so you will have x 9 for the left side of the photo and x 3 for the right photo side cluster. Shape and ball the flowers ready for placement.
For the photo, cut a piece of cardboard to fit the photo. Cut also x 2,  8.5 cm x 5.5 cm to raise the photo to the desired height on the lay out. Adhere these two cardboards to the lay out so the photo will be placed in the center of the page. Ink the edges of the photo and cardboard. Adhere in place. Adhere the chipboard Peacocks on their resting place on the photo and the other on the fence. Arrange the leaves, flowers and feathers as seen in the lay out photo. Find the words “ CELEBRATE “ and “ YOU “ in the paper collection. Trim to size and ink the edges. Adhere in place for the title. Because of the weight of the embellishments the lay out needs support. To do this, cut a sheet of cardboard to fit the size of the background then adhere with the wet glue so you can slide the paper on the cardboard. This will allow you to adhere the background so it will be straight and aligned at the edges. When the glue is dry, Ink the edges with the Black Soot ink. To finish, add the stickles to the flower centers and both Peacocks crowns
