Debuting the 'Berry Cafe' collection at Heartfelt Creations

Presented to you, the ideal collection to welcome summer.
                                   Berry Café collection
Warm breezes blow, busy bees buzz from blossom to blossom, and perfectly shaped, ripe berries beckon you as you catch a glimpse of them through the vines winding their way up the rickety old picket fence in the picture perfect garden patch.  Bringing back fond memories of strawberry picking while the early morning dew still lingered on the vines with the new release by Heartfelt Creations.
The Berry Cafe Collection will have you reminiscing of filling pails until overflowing while playing the game of "two for me" and "one for the pail", which always led to the task taking a tad longer.
Travel back in time to the days of your childhood where you shared your first strawberry milkshake, or float at the local ice cream parlour with that special someone you so adored. Filled with sweet illustrations of vining strawberries, adorable children, elegant blossoms, old fashioned strawberry stands as well as delicately patterned papers featuring eyelet prints, soft checks, ornate borders and delicious clusters of strawberries nestled among flowers, you are certain to find yourself warming in the berry patch and hankering for a cold strawberry treat.
Happy hues of pinks, reds, yellows, blues and greens create a cheerful color palette that is sure to make your heart sing the songs of summer.  Five extraordinary cling stamp sets allow you to recreate all of the memories of strawberry picking and enjoying the fruit from the vine.  Color and shape your way to a lush and productive garden plot where blossoms and fruit abound, being careful to avoid the ever busy bees.

Instructions:
Click HERE to get a few tips on colouring the stamped images.
The completed size of this LO is, 30.5 cm x 30.5 cm. The size photos used: 2 x, 6 cm x 6. 1 x, 10.1 cm x 4.1 cm.
Please Note: All stamping is done with the gold embossing powder on the
crafters companion cardstock.
Use one of the green cardstock as a LO base. Taking the design paper with the beehive on it, cut this in half. Cut off center, to the side of the beehive and distress all the edges. Put one sheet of green cardstock aside for the title. Cut the remaining two sheets of green cardstock the same size as the design paper.

Take one of the cardstock sets and align the die to make a lace edge. Apply glitter to this lace edge. Adhere the lace edge to the matching plain edged set of cardstock. Adhere to the matching size design paper. Now you have a pair. Adhere the layered papers to the green cardstock LO base. Please note! Apply glue only to the top out side corners and along the outer edge. Holding securely the top center join of the papers (about 9 cm. not yet ready to glue down, as the flowers need to be added and this will be done later), carefully role the center bottom corners back to the out side edge. When pleased with the placement, adhere the corners in place.
Stamp the straw berries, 4 x the long and 2 x the fuller image. Color, die cut then shape. Stamp the flowers (a lot, both sets) color a few pink then die cut them all. Shape the flowers with the shaping kit with the aid of misted water.

Cut the photos to size and back them with cardboard. Adding about 3-4 layers of cardboard strips to give the extra height.

Place the longer strawberry clutters in the paper tear point to the bottom of the LO, as a background. Adhere the larger photo to the background.

Add the flowers. Place and adhere the remaining photos so they peek out from behind the folds. Add trimmed to size strawberry clusters and a few flowers around and under the photos as seen in the photo.

Adhere flowers and the remaining strawberry clusters to the LO top edge join.

Add the crystal gems to the flower centers.

Die cut the small flower cluster from the Sweet as Honey set and from the matching image printed in the paper found in the paper pad. Cut a few extra from the crafters companion card stock to make a chipboard piece.

Adhere this to the top of the honey hive. Add x 2 pink flowers to the under side of the honey hive.
Taking the remaining cardstock, cut the title from the alphabet sets.

Cut each letter x 6. Adhere all the layers together to form letter chippies. Adhere in place to form the title.

Well that was fun...love the flowers tucked under the paper folds. Sorry I have not yet got photos from my WS with Finnabair. My girlfriend took all the photos and has been so busy, she has not got round to it yet...we all know that feeling! Life happens. But it was such fun and I learn't a lot....never too old to learn. I feel in love with ALL of her product. There goes the budget again.
I wish you all a happy scrappy inky week.
Sending inky hugs, sussipoppins
