Taking the A4 300gm card-stock and make the card base by first making 2 folds, being 2.1/4” ( 6 cm ) along the long side to form the foot of the card. Fold this to a hill and valley fold. Cut the card front base at 5.9/16” x 6.12/16” ( 14. 2 cm x 17. 1 cm ) The card slider at 2.10/16” x 4.1/2” ( 6. 7 cm x 11. 5 cm ) Click HERE to find a photo tutorial on how to put this card together.
Cut the pink card stock as matting a little smaller for the card background, card front, card foot and card slider. Do the same for the design paper. Ink the edges with the Victorian velvet ink. Stamp the sentiment to the card front design paper in the centre. Taking the design paper cut x two the lace using the decorative Medallion die set. Ink the edges with the Victorian velvet ink. Taking the white card-stock, stamp all the leaves, flowers, wedding bell boarder and wedding bell spray. Colour with the zigg pens, die cut with the matching die sets then using the deluxe flower shaping tools bring shape to the elements. Adhere the papers for the card background, slider and card foot. Adhere the lace pieces by folding at the end of the lace and fold. Adhere to the design paper front. Adhere this to the pink card stock. Apply double sided tape to all sides except the top part of the card front pink card stock layer as this will be the opening for the slider when you adhere to the card front white base. Adhere the slider to the centre top of the card background. Slide the slider into the card front opening. With the double sided tape and wet glue adhere the card front to the card foot.

Taking the double dots ( thick double sided foam dots ) adhere the wedding bells spray to the top of the card front so the top of the spray overlaps on to the slider when adhered. Adhere the leaf sprays to the foot ( four sprays used plus ) Adhere the roses and buds then the wedding bell boarder. Adhere a small rose and bud to the wedding bell spray. To finish apply the novo crystal drops here and there around the roses and apply stickles to the rose petals and bells. to put the card base together

The measurements are in both inches and centimetres. Above the card base from a A4 card stock sheet. Below the slider and card front. So you will need 2 A4 sheets for 1 card, 3 A4 sheets for 2 cards.

Below showing all the card pieces with the matting cut and placed

Showing how the matting is placed for the foot and card background.

Below is showing were to place the tape. The edge with out the tape is for the slider so it can slide up and down so the card can stand.

The tabs you see are the double sided tape throw away strips, I take alit away and folded it out
. Align it then the rest off. this is so I can get it straight with out fighting with the papers that is if I don't get it right the first time. It makes life easier if I have to take it off and realign.
I'm into

ard background covers with the slider in place.

Above and below shows how the slider slide in behind the matting card-stock.

When adhering the slider, I always use double sided tape and wet glue. The double sided tape holds it in place, the wet glue allows movement to slide to get the centre of the car back edge and the slider needs to be secured very well as it gets a lot of movement. Before I did this, sometimes the tape on the slider came away. This was a real shame as it needed repairing...and not everyone has tape and glue...not everyone is a card

Once the slider is adhered to the card background, then the card front can be adhered to the card foot as seen below. Now the card can stand on it's own.

Now to decorate the card front, just as you would a conventional card.

The slider top is hidden with a embellishment. this can be attached to the card front as is here or to the top slider edge if there is enough room to allow for this. To make allowance for this, you can adhere the card front lower on the card foot which will make more room for the embellishments on the slider top.
You have probably gathered I love this card form. It makes all the work extra special because it stands on it's own like a picture frame....Mmmm....thats an idea!
food for thought....

This card is greedy with design paper and card-stock...but well worth it. One way of using up the old faithful stash, so you can get more new, yum, up to date goodies to enjoy. The card asked 2x A4 card stock for the base, 1x matting card stock 12" x 12" (30cm x 30cm) 1-2 x 12" x 12" (30cm x 30cm ) design paper (depending on how extravagant you are and the design of the paper.) plus extra paper or card stock for stamped embellishments and flowers.

I hope you are happy with this photo tutorial. No more saying...I give up! and trashing all that hard work and design
