Instructions: for "Best Wishes" card
The finished size of this card is 7”x 10” (17.5 cm x21.5 cm )
Taking the white card-stock make a book fold card base. Find and taking the design paper from the collection, use the basic matting spellbinder dies to make the 2 layers of matting. Use the largest size die and a smaller size. Distress the edges of both paper cuts. Taking the dolly die and the oval die, cut 2 dollies and an oval. Taking the embossing powder sprinkle a little on the top matting layer and oval. From under the paper, apply the heat to melt the powder. This will give you a look of falling snow. If you do it from the top the powder will blow away.

Cut extra ovals from the white card stock and adhere to the finished design paper oval. Apply to the edges of the oval peeled paint ink. Adhere both matting layers to the card front then the 2 dollies to form a frame for the oval. Adhere the oval with the 3d foam dots. Stamp, colour and die cut the cardinals x 2.  For one of the cuts trim away the birds and discard. Apply the puffy paint to the snow and finish with glitter before it dry’s.

Make a triple bow and adhere with a glue dot across the lower front of the card. Make the sentiment applying the glitter by using the clear drying glue. Adhere the cardinals to the oval and a twig behind the oval. Tuck and adhere the twigs in and around the bow.

I hope you had fun scrolling down having a birds eye view with this weeks winter card.....now for my  fun good news...

I had the opportunity to join the Crafters Companion Design Team here in Nederland! (Holland)
Now what do you think I did?
...a hint...my darling husband always says I can't say NO!...I say...no, the problem is,
I don't want to say NO...lol
I have been so caught up in the excitement since last week Thursday when I met the team and all was official, (until then I was not going to count the chickens before they hatched) I have been juggling my crafting time on the calendar to fit everything in and making room in my studio cave to fit and file all those yum toys so I can find them in a jiffy.
I have not had the time to a post as promised with the news... But don't worry it's coming...just got to edit a few photos and do a written. Not my most fav job...lol.

Here is a sneaky peak of what I have crafted with a few dies as a sample for the store
Handmade Hobby.

The real life sample can be found at the store 'Handmade Hobby' so if you are in the area pop in and take a look at the goodies they have in stock there...or pop on over and take a look at the workshops they have available at a very affordable price! I give a workshop once a month there. So I am not kidding when I say I'm juggling my time....lol
Handmade have a special on with some of the Crafters Companion dies and matching stamps.
We all love special...right.
With that thought...I am sending inky hugs and wishing you all a scrappy week...
till then, sussipoppins love,
Susan
