Taking the A4 300gm card-stock and make the card base by first making 2 folds, being 2.1/4”
( 6 cm ) along the long side to form the foot of the card. Fold this to a hill and valley fold. Cut the card front base at 5.9/16” x 6.12/16” ( 14. 2 cm x 17. 1 cm ) The card slider at 2.10/16” x 4.1/2” four and a half inches ( 6. 7 cm x 11. 5 cm )Find the design paper with the stripes in it for the card background and the card front. Find the cream design paper for the top layer card front. Cut this a little smaller and ink the edges with Spiced Marmalade distress ink. Adhere all together not forgetting to leave the top card front design paper open as seen in the tutorial. For the slider guide, cover this with the striped paper
Compare this photo to the one above, or first photo,
see how the bear pops up when the slider is used to stand the card.
Isn't this fun!
For the decoration of the card:
Taking the white card stock ( 14.5 oz ) stamp colour and die cut all the embellishments. Cut lots of sunflowers and leaves.
The marshmallows on sticks are trimmed away from the bears.
The grass and stone boarder and flower boarders are found in the Woodsy Wonderland stamp and die sets. These are trimmed to fit.
Adhere in place as seen in the photo of the card.
Adhere a few leaves and a bear at the top of the slider and top of the card front so they slide into each other to form a cluster.
To finish the card apply stickles to the flower centres and ironwork on the house.
This is such a cute collection! The whole month is filled with it. Most of us love sunflowers so this collection gives us the things we love.....and what about the cute bears....wait till next week.
