' BEACH BABES'

LO made for the Dusty Attic SKETCH CHALLENGE for March. Sketch created by Michelle Grant. DA chip used here-FLEUR de LIS FRAMES- ( this set can be broken down, I am planning to get x4 LO's out of this one pkt. Great buy!) I have used the inside frame.
The paper is -RIDDERSHOLM DESIGN-

The tittle is cut 6 times then glued together, inked then glossy to finish. Tim Holtz alpha die-CHIP BOARD- one of my fav's at the moment!....and yes you are not the only one that thinks I am crazy! You read right...6 times and then glue..."the patience of Job" But it is worth it and it is addictive. This is the way I make my own chippies. This way you don't get all those extra letters that you will never use and you get to use u all the scraps that you would normally throw away....a bit of green peace through in. A win win situation!

TIP:- I always glue the alpha chips down before adding the glossy. Then the chips stay still and the glossy flows in the right place...but you must do it just before going to bed... so you do not blotch it up by accident.

The leave vines used here are from -CREATE A SHAPE - AVEC .Misted with glimmer mist to finish.

Dusty Attic chip-DRAGONFLY'S- you get a lot in the pkt and they are small so you can always sneak them into a corner of your LO.

TIP:- I wet the chip and with a kitchen vegie knife spit the wings to give it a 3d effect. Leave to dry, then add stickles. Spray with gold glimmer mist.

The flowers are made with the Tim Holtz- TATTERD FLOURISHES- die. Inked, curled then layered. The little rosettes are also cut from the same paper.

TIP:- The rosettes are made with a circle punch, then cut in a spiral then curled with tweezers from the out side....have fun practicing....I did.

Sea horses...my most favorite from the sea. The die is from the - CUTTLE BUG-.Yes, cut x6, then glued. Add glossy (RANGER) to glue the glass beads then add glimmer glam and stickles. Sea shells done the same way.

TIP:- Sea horses...The top layer is embossed before glueing. This gives a scaled effect....don't you just love it? -CORE- card stock is also used and sanded....after embossing.

Well.....this was a lot of work....but well worth it. I just love to scrap!
Thanks for dropping by.....catch you later.
